Atoll Estates has announced Zamani Islands, a new destination in the South Malé Atoll, Maldives. This development will include the region’s first superyacht marina and yacht club. Launching its first phase in Spring 2026, Zamani Islands aims to redefine luxury and sustainability with a focus on ‘Planet and People.’
A Vision of Luxury & Sustainability
Spanning 5 kilometres in a natural lagoon, Zamani Islands will comprise eight islands with three resorts designed by Killa Design. The goal is to be the first 100% clean, renewable energy resort in the Maldives. Located 21 nautical miles from the main international airport, it promises to offer both luxury and eco-friendliness.
The Superyacht Marina: Yachtie Paradise
The superyacht market is growing, with a projected value of $10.8 billion by 2026. The Maldives saw a significant rise in superyacht visits in 2023, which highlights its obvious appeal. Zamani Islands will feature a 60,000 square metre Superyacht Marina with seamless docking services and exceptional facilities, creating a haven for yachts, from crew to guests.

The Maldives, 99% water and 1% land, offers ideal conditions for superyacht cruising. Its blue waters, year-round sunshine, and white sand beaches are perfect for aquatic adventures. Known for top diving spots, the Maldives is a magnet for anyone looking to explore rich marine life and vibrant corals.
Environmental Sustainability
Environmental sensitivity is going to be key at Zamani Islands. Throughout its construction, those working on the project will use carefully selected materials and respect the marine environment. They have an active coral relocation program and will continue with coral propagation post-construction, dedicating 70 hectares to this effort.

Each villa on Zamani Islands features beautifully appointed bedrooms, multiple private pools, screening rooms, personal spa and wellness areas, and dedicated fitness and game spaces. Spacious entertaining zones offer stunning Indian Ocean views. As well as this, there’ll be personal butler services to provide a bespoke experience for guests.
