Aviva is no ordinary superyacht. Launched in 2017 and commissioned by British billionaire Joe Lewis, this 98m yacht features a groundbreaking amenity: a full-sized indoor padel tennis court, making it a true standout in the world of luxury yachts.
A Game-Changing Amenity
Superyacht Aviva is unlike any other on the seas, boasting one of the most unique amenities ever installed on a yacht – a full-sized, indoor padel tennis court. Measuring an impressive 65.6 by 32.8 feet, with a 22-foot ceiling, this court allows for late-night matches without disturbing other guests, thanks to the innovative soundproofing provided by two tons of sand.
A Floating Palace of Luxury
Commissioned by British billionaire Joe Lewis and launched in 2017, Aviva spans 98 metres and is valued at a staggering $250 million. And it’s not just her size or luxurious accommodations that make her stand out; it’s her hybrid drive system, which allows the yacht to cruise at 11 knots on electric power alone, reducing both fuel consumption and environmental impact. The yacht can reach speeds up to 20 knots and accommodates 16 guests in eight cabins, with 25 crew members.
More Than Just Tennis
Of course, the tennis court steals the show. Located on a lower deck, this space also doubles as a football pitch or sports hall when the net is removed. With a small viewing area for spectators, Aviva brings the thrill of Wimbledon to the open ocean.
A Complete Onboard Experience
In addition to the tennis court, Aviva features a beach club area with a swimming platform, perfect for a dip in the sea. The yacht’s tenders are launched through side doors. Whether serving up aces or enjoying the beach club, Aviva redefines what it means to sail in style.
