Alia Yachts has unveiled a groundbreaking hybrid superyacht, the Sea Club 53.

It’s a fully custom 174-footer that blends the functionality of a shadow vessel with the luxury of a superyacht. Dubbed the “ultimate toy and tender carrier” by the Turkish yard, it was designed in-house to meet the owner’s desire for a chase boat with the refinement and style of a superyacht.

Collaborative Design & Construction

The development of Sea Club 53 was a collaborative effort between the owner, his captain, and Technical Marine UK, alongside Alia Yachts, Azure Yacht Design, and Diana Yacht Design.

Azure Yacht Design led the exterior design and layout, while Diana Yacht Design handled the naval architecture. The construction, which began with the separate assembly of the hull, superstructure, and helideck, was completed in just over two years.

Alia Yachts President Gökhan Çelik commented:

“The Sea Club 53 showcases the very best of our capabilities here at Alia Yachts. We’re thrilled to see her in the water demonstrating her full potential for operating in great comfort at speeds up to 15 knots. It is a testament to our expert technical, engineering, and boatbuilding teams here at Alia, as well as the close collaboration we have enjoyed with Azure Yacht Design for the exterior design and layout development, and with Diana Yacht Design for the naval architecture underpinning the hull. The Sea Club 53 has been an ambitiously rapid build. Thanks to an excellent relationship with the owner’s team at Technical Marine UK and quick thinking at our end, we have brought the project from dream to floating reality in a little over two years.”
