2017 is proving to be plain sailing for Italian yacht builders Sanlorenzo at the moment. Tomorrow (26th January) sees the much-anticipated launch of their 52m Sanlorenzo Steel yacht, and it is fair to say that their boats have been flying off the proverbial shelves. These incredible looking vessels are currently being built at the shipyard’s new space in La Spezia, and a third one has just been sold just before launch day.
How Do Sanlorenzo Do It?
It’s thanks to internationally acclaimed yacht broker West Nautical that these guys are celebrating this week. West Nautical have been in yachting for more than 20 years now, and boast a strong team of leading industry experts who are based in the UK, Monaco, France and Russia.
Sanlorenzo has Officina Italiana Design to thank for the vessels’ sleek and elegant design and the Sanlorenzo Technical Department for all of the techy bits for this innovative project.
Why’s It So Special?
This new model has an aft section in the design, which includes a pool large enough to solicit a pool-party. Not just this, but it also boasts a beach club filled with natural light thanks to its transparent bottom, with three separate opening terraces which all serve as perfect platforms to jump right into the sea from. This same area can also be transformed into a garage for tenders up to 8m long with the snap of one’s fingers. Okay, maybe not that fast, but pretty fast.
This area is totally adaptable, too, and the new owner for this particular sale has chosen to add a customised gym into the adjoining space. We can’t decide whether we’d go for that, or for a bar. Or maybe two in one.
Either way, congratulations to both broker and shipyard on another successful sale!
