About Falcon Tenders and Co-Founder Mark Pascoe
Falcon Tenders specialise in building superyacht tenders for the most discerning yacht owners. The Southampton-based boatbuilder draws on co-founder Mark Pascoe’s 20+ years of industry experience. They produce bespoke tenders for some of the most iconic superyachts ever launched.
Now, at the dawn of a new era in customisable yacht tenders, Pascoe and his skilled team of experienced craftsmen reveal a raft of collaborations with some of the biggest names in superyacht design, to bring innovation, sustainability and beauty to the forefront.
Mark Pascoe started manufacturing RIBS and hi-performance sports boats with a dedicated team of craftsmen working under him. The company enjoyed a large-scale expansion with its range of 7-10m Sport RIBS.
Mark’s turning point was when he oversaw the production of two custom tenders for the legendary S/Y MALTESE FALCON. Mark then returned to Pascoe International as Production Manager, where he oversaw over 200 superyacht tenders built.
In 2021 Pascoe began a new chapter in his career and established Falcon Tenders, which looks to build the very best superyacht tenders on the market.
Since its debut, the label has worked with worldwide stylists, including Tim Heywood, the multi-award-winning designer, visionary creatives Uros Pavasovic and David Weiss of Designova, and naval architect Patrick Banfield.
Falcon Tenders First Limousine
Falcon Tenders’ first limousine model is penned by British studio Michael Leach Design. It measures 10.5 metres and is the ideal accompaniment to superyachts of all sizes.
Falcon Tenders limousine is pitched at the upper end of the tender market. It has the perfect design for guests wishing to go comfortably from the yacht to shore best suited to yachts of 100+ metres that anchor further out at sea.
Falcon adorned the exterior decks with reclaimed teak, complemented by premium Scottish leather upholstery for a refined interior finish. A matching open tender is also currently in the pipeline.
A Statement from Mark Smith from Leach Design
“Some owners want absolute luxury with Bentley-inspired interiors and others are all about speed,” -Mark Smith
Mark Smith is the director at Michael Leach Design, best known for designing 96m M/Y PALLADIUM, 93m M/Y LADY S and 110m Feadship M/Y ANNA, one of the largest yachts on the charter market.
Whether large or small the parameters of boat design remain the same they are comfort, beauty and performance. Having worked on 100+ meter yachts, Smith understands the functionality and diversity required for their matching tenders.
Interestingly, the Falcon Tenders limousine and open tender are the first boats that they have worked on without the confines of an owner’s brief.
Smith has known Mark Pascoe since the 1980s, with the boatbuilding expertise that he and his team bring to the table, MLD has said they are very excited to be partnering with Falcon Tenders on their debut models.
A Statement from Mark Pascoe
Falcon Tenders’ fully-custom yacht tenders are hand-built to order in limited numbers. Speaking on the Falcon Tenders setup, Mark Pascoe commented:
“We have a small, dedicated team at Falcon Tenders, rather than a large factory that is mass-producing. One of our biggest assets is the fact we have people with real passion, all of whom have worked in the tender business for 10 years or more. We have the skill set and appetite to do something pretty special, and partnering with the likes of Michael Leach Design, Tim Heywood and all the other designers who have collaborations.”
Falcon Tenders’ limousine model and matching open tender design will make their international debut at the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show.
Working with owners, captains, designers and shipyards, Falcon Tenders has the resources and industry know-how to fine-tune designs to meet specific owner requirements. They welcome all opportunities to bring any tender project to life.
