The Sustainability Hub, a new exhibition space will debut at the 2022 Monaco Yacht Show. The area will welcome businesses using technology to lessen the environmental impact of superyachts. Darse Sud, the tent devoted to maritime technology and equipment will host the 200m2 display.
The Sustainability Hub serves as an incubator for businesses that offer ground-breaking or tried-and-true environmentally friendly solutions. Additionally, it highlights start-ups developing environmentally friendly solutions that smoothly integrate with the yachting industry.
Having announced their partnership, the Water Revolution Foundation and the Monaco Yacht Show will choose the businesses that qualify for the Sustainability Hub.
Robert Van Tol, Executive Director of the Water Revolution Foundation: “The creation of the Sustainability Hub is a crucial achievement. The Monaco Yacht Show has once again consolidated its leading position in the field, whilst highlighting the Water Revolution Foundation’s expertise in terms of sustainability. Thus, the show’s new exhibition area is designed to showcase forms of technology that will bring concrete improvements to the world of yachting. We are making every effort to find, verify, promote and reward sustainable solutions, whilst encouraging their use and bringing about much needed change.”
The Sustainability Hub was developed as part of the Monaco Yacht Show’s eco-friendly approach, which began in 2005. The show is a vehicle for educating the Monegasque and global yachting communities about environmental concerns.
