When it comes to exploring the islands of Ibiza and Formentera, we all think of great parities and outstanding nightlife. We often forget the other things this beautiful Island offers. Today, with West Nautical’s help, we have put together our top 5 bucket list beaches to visit on a Superyacht.
Las Salinas, Eivissa
Las Salinas is at the southernmost tip of Ibiza. This beach exhibits pale sands and crystal clear waters. If you are visiting with guests, several high-class beach clubs are on offer, such as Blue Marlin, Malibu Beach Club, and The Jockey Club. It’s no wonder Las Salinas is renowned as one of the best and most cultured beaches in Ibiza.
Cala Jondal, Ibiza
A popular beach with most yachties is Cala Jondal. The beach is covered in large pebbles, but at the south end lays a stretch of glorious golden sands. It hosts a variety of fancy bars and restaurants for visitors to choose from. Some of them will even bring food and drinks to your yacht for your clients to enjoy. This is, therefore, definitely one of the best beaches to visit on a Superyacht.
Cala Saona, Formentera
Cala Saona is a small, peaceful beach in Formentera. Tucked away from a lot of the island, this beach rarely draws crowds. Owing to its calm, clear waters, this spot is perfect for a swim from the swim platform of a superyacht. At the peak of summer, Cala Saona boasts spectacular sunset views. Your guests can bask in its brilliance over a dinner provided by the hotel nearby.
Es Caló, Formentera
Es Caló beach is located in the traditional fisherman’s corner of Formentera. If your guests want to indulge in the finest fresh meat and fish, this is the spot to recommend. They will love you for it. The beach itself is picturesque with crystal clear waters. It is, therefore, an ideal spot for snorkelling and diving.
Espalmador, Formentera
Located just off the north shore of Formentera is Espalmador, a privately owned island. Despite being open to visitors, exploring inland is not allowed. Therefore visiting by yacht is the best way to experience this island. With just over 2km of unspoiled beaches and soothing mud baths, this uninhabited corner of paradise is one your guests won’t forget.
