When choosing a yacht to charter or buy, one must consider the facilities and the order of their importance. After all, your watery palace must be fit for a king (and queen), and getting wet and wild is normally high up on the tick list. The sea is great fun for a while, but getting salty all the time isn’t for everyone, which means a Superyacht swimming pool is a must if you’re really going to enjoy your holiday! With this in mind, we’ve put together a list of 6 Superyacht swimming pools, for you to pick your favourite.
M/Y SAVANNAH
We’re a bit biased when it comes to Motor Yacht Savanaah because she’s one of our all-time favourite yachts anyway, but there’s no denying that her pool is absolutely breathtaking. She was built by Feadship in 2015 and designed by CG Design. Every element of this vessel has been created with luxury in mind, and the pool stretches almost the entire length of the aft deck!
M/Y QUATTROELLE
We couldn’t forget about this iconic 2013 Lurssen Superyacht, designed by Nuvolari-Lenard. Between the infinity pool, the pool spa, and the seemingly endless sunbathing space, M/Y Quatrolle had to make it onto the list.
M/Y SERENITY
You’d never get bored of the view whilst going for a dip in the beautiful pool on M/Y Serenitys sundeck. The 40m Mondomarine luxury yacht creates the perfect place to relax, in a paradise of your own choosing.
M/Y ECLIPSE
Having a 15m superyacht swimming pool means you can actually go for a proper swim. And, this one also has a secret feature… The bottom rises right up to floor level, meaning you can either create a kid-friendly paddling pool or a killer dance floor if raised entirely. If you was to ask us, we’d say she’s a multifunctional dream for any savvy yacht owner!
M/Y ALFA NERO
M/Y ALFA NERO, built by OceanCo in 2007, was one of the first to have a big ‘feature’ superyacht swimming pool, and arguably set the trend in motion. Just Like M/Y Eclipse, it has a raisable floor making it ideal for outside dancing. But also, the perfect helipad. All in all, this yacht has a great pool, space to get your groove on, and a spot for your helicopter.
M/Y SEASENSE
This 2017 Benetti is one of the loveliest boats to hit the water that year! Her 10m pool is one to be envied. With plenty of space to relax in the sun and take a quick dip to cool off, this spot on the stern sits just in front of the main saloon whose sliding doors give guests the best of being both inside and out. Of course, if you haven’t got space for your own pool you could always get one of these bad boys:
