The 2024 Antigua Yacht Show is just around the corner, and AYSS (Association of Yacht Support Services) will be showcasing the winners of their highly anticipated global drone competition – Love From Above! The announcement of the winning videos will take place during the show. Read on for all the details!
Drone Competition
The winning videos from the Love From Above competition will be announced on Friday 6th December at 7.30pm at the Antigua Yacht Club Marina.
Prizes:
- 1st Place: $3,000
- 2nd Place: $1,500
- 3rd Place: $500
Jainie Cowham, one of the judges shared her thoughts on the competition:
“For me this competition encourages crew, and therefore by and large the younger sector of the yachting industry, to take a keen interest in seeing and sharing the amazing locations and experiences that working on superyachts provides. Judging by how much of the first-year entries focused on wildlife, sea life and natural backdrops, I happily deduce todays crew are highly motivated to embrace and record the natural world around them. I’ll even take bets that the coming years of LovefromAbove will share rare footage to challenge even the likes of Blue Planet!!”

What Else Is Happening?
AYSS will have a strong presence at the Antigua Yacht Show 2024, with members on-site to discuss, offer advice, and assist with any inquires related to yacht services. Their presence at the show will be a great opportunity for networking and receiving tailored advice for your yacht’s needs.
