Description
• 70m Dual Season Private/Charter yacht are looking to a Bosun to join them by 10th October
• This is a great opportunity to join a busy yacht with a good amount of sea time leading a team from the front
• YM offshore required as minimum and coming from a lead deckhand on a larger yacht or Bosun from a smaller yacht
• If you are working towards OOW this would be advantageous, there will be the opportunity to cover the 2nd officer once you have your OOW
• Cruising further afield this Winter including Canada and Greenland • Mixture of Private and charter usage – the yacht usually charters 2-3 times a year in between owner usage
• Need to be confident leading a team, forward thinking and good for morale! Experience with paint and varnish and confident with teaching the deck team and experience driving all drive type of Tenders
• Close knit team who enjoy spending time together, dock BBQs, runs together, bowling etc. plenty of crew activities during down times
• Great senior team, solid captains and HODS onboard
• B1/B2 preferred but not essential
• On offer is a salary of 4500-5000 Euros DOE, 5:1 rotation, 13th month bonus, split of tips and discretionary training budget. Salary is negotiable for someone with OOW in hand
