Developers of the Hurricane Hole Superyacht Marina’s spectacular renovation and expansion, Sterling Global Financial, have announced that the new Superyacht marina will be fully operational and ready to welcome yachts and their guests in April 2022.
Putting the finishing touches on the famous marina’s total redevelopment and redesign, the Nassau-based construction team is completing the final stages of construction and installing the custom-built docks. A limited number of slips are left for sale. Rental bookings are now available starting April 1, 2022.
Designed and constructed to the highest standards of quality and design, the marina’s perimeter has now been expanded to over 6,100 linear feet of deep-water floating and fixed concrete docks. With docks up to 420 feet the marina now has a 240-feet-wide turning basin and 14.5′ depth blow average tide. Yacht captains and crew will have access to separate pools, lounge, and gym facilities dedicated to them. Alongside, 24-hour security and onsite customs, members will have access to state-of-the-art fitness centres, swimming pools, meeting rooms, and charter management services to use and enjoy. The marina will also provide laundry facilities, in-slip fueling, and 400-amp/480-volt power that all contribute to the property’s unique appeal.
The marina’s mixed-use component, Sterling Commons, which includes residential, retail restaurants, and facilities is conveniently positioned next to the marina. Sterling Commons also has a private bank and trust, as well as executive office spaces offering daily and monthly office leases. A flagship retail store for 700 Wine and Spirits is now open and will be followed by a gourmet grocery store and waterfront restaurants. The master-planned yachting village’s residential component will eventually feature luxurious dockside residences and ample amenities for owners, guests, and yacht crew. The first phase of residential condominiums is sold out. Sterling is now taking reservations for Phase 2, which will be available soon.
