Compass Tenders’ latest limousine launch has now been delivered to her mothership, an 87m Lurssen. Code-named ‘Project Hawaii’ this 10m tender carries her guests in supreme style with a versatile configuration of interior and exterior seating.
The tender’s design is a development of the Latitude West limousine, one of the UK tender builder’s semi-production models, but exterior design cues were taken from the mothership, which was designed by Bannenberg & Rowell.
Notable of her features is the size of the aft entry door – this has been maximised and, with a vertical powered lift, allows a greater feeling of connectivity to the exterior seating area. The roof of the Limousine features large sliding panels to further enhance the tender’s spacious and open ambience and all operate with the smoothest of motion.
The interior has all the luxuries that have become synonymous with the Compass Tenders name, including AV monitors, a high-spec air-conditioning system, RGB lighting and a fantastic audio setup. Integrated seating runs down both the port and starboard sides, and is finished in soft leathers.
Compass were required to work to the parameters of the mothership’s tender garage, which had already been specified and this design was carefully constructed so as to adhere to space and weight requirements, without compromising performance ability or comfort.

On sea trials in the Solent near the Compass Tenders yard, this Limousine comfortably achieved over 40 knots of boat speed and is expected to exceed original expectations in all ways.
